Paris

Paris - the city of lights, art and love.

Hardly any other place fascinates people around

the world as much as the French capital.

Paris has an inexhaustible energy that never ceases to captivate you. Between grandiose boulevards and hidden alleys, the past always flirts with the present.

Even those who live here will never fully understand the city –

There is always something new to discover, even in neighborhoods you think you already know.

Like the museum of Serge Gainsbourg.

Almost everyone knows Serge Gainsbourg's music, and his graffiti-covered house in Saint-Germain has long been a cult classic. The museum, which has finally opened, offers its first glimpse into the interior of his legendary home.

Just opposite is the Hotel Verneuil

This boutique accommodation combines vintage charm with modern design accents and feels more like a friend's stylish apartment in the middle of St. Germain, rather than a hotel. The comfortable rooms and the 'salon' invite you to simply switch off - ideally with a good book and an espresso in hand.

A few streets away is the restaurant Le Relais De L'Entrecôte. If you want to eat classic French food, this is the place to go. The bistro is renowned for its distinctive concept: a simple yet delicious green salad with walnuts, followed by a succulent entrecôte served with crispy fries, all topped with a secret house-made sauce. Founded in 1959 by Paul Gineste de Saurs, the restaurant now has several locations across Paris, including one in the charming Rue Saint-Benoît in the Saint-Germain district. The service is known for its efficiency and warmth, while the cozy, traditional Parisian bistro decor creates a welcoming atmosphere. Due to its popularity, the restaurant is often crowded. Reservations are not possible, so allow more time - it's definitely worth it!

Nestled on the quaint Rue du Nil in Paris’ 2nd arrondissement, Frenchie has become one of the city’s most sought-after dining destinations. Led by renowned chef Gregory Marchand, this intimate spot reimagines modern French cuisine with global influences. Its ever-changing menu highlights the best seasonal ingredients, all served in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. With an open kitchen where guests can watch the culinary process in action, the carefully crafted tasting menu and curated wine list offer a true feast for the senses. For anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Paris, Frenchie is a must-visit.

Fish lovers shouldn't miss Sur Mer - a fish and seafood restaurant located at 53 Rue de Lancry in the Monnaie district. Chef Olive Davoux opened the restaurant in 2017. Sur Mer specializes in sharing dishes and highlights sustainably caught seafood. The menu changes daily according to fresh deliveries, and guests can enjoy creative dishes such as ceviches and tartare.

Paris is always being rediscovered. Sometimes you come across a sight every day without knowing the special story behind it. One example is the obelisk on the Place de la Concorde in Paris, which was brought to France from Egypt in 1836. It was once set up in the Temple of Luxor and is over 3,000 years old. Today, the 23-meter-high obelisk is an important landmark in Paris and is a reminder of the fascination with ancient Egypt.
